Here you will find a collection of files that sometimes are too large to display on our blog pages. They represent a treasure trove of information and knowledge that can add value to Occupation in most places.
Feel free to download any of them and pass it on if you like it.
The Five-Fold Path of Productive Meetings
a bonus chapter of The Empowerment Manual: A Guide for Collaborative Groups, by Starhawk, published in November 2011, by New Society Publishers
It is a great resource for any Occupy facilitator or anybody who wants to understand better the ins and outs consensus building.
From the “99%” - THE NEW COMMON SENSE
A commentator at Occupy Wall Street wrote about it:
THE NEW COMMON SENSE - http://pastebin.com/gm2UV08D This document: 1) Demands that the illegal 4th Branch of the Federal Government, “The Special Interest Branch” be expelled from unfair influence in DC immediately. 2) Explains how the three branches of the Federal government have violated the Constitution. 3) Lays out a detailed plan on how to repair the Constitution and force the government to uphold it again by taking an audit and inventory of it, rooting out all that is unconstitutional.
It can help give us more time to build a better platform, all while finally shutting the media up when they claim that we have nothing substantial to say. It’s a must read. It’s loophole free and it fully explains itself. Please take the time to read and share and discuss this most important document that has appeared on the scene and is spreading like wildfire. It’s a true gift to Occupy. I just hope and pray that we accept it and use it and add it to our toolbox.
What is next for the Occupy Movement?
Summary report of the Occupy Toronto design conversations,
Nov. 25, 2011
It’s a remarkably coherent strategy and visioning document by Occupy Toronto, which can inspire many of the Occupy vision and structure conversations taking place in other cities as well.
